Overview

Bar Staff at a music festival are responsible for providing quick, friendly, and efficient service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, handle transactions, maintain cleanliness, and uphold all alcohol safety and event policies.

This is a seasonal part-time role from August 4, 2025 to November 4, 2025. 

This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until November 4, 2025. 

Responsibilities

• Serve beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to festival guests

• Check IDs and follow all alcohol service regulations

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations

• Restock supplies such as cups, ice, and garnishes as needed

• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

• Communicate with barbacks and supervisors for support

• Follow health and safety protocols at all times

• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude

• Report any issues or incidents to supervisors immediately

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 or 21 years old (depending on state alcohol laws)

• Previous experience in bartending or bar service preferred, but not required

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a loud, outdoor, and fast-paced environment

• Must be punctual, reliable, and a team player

• TABC or other state alcohol certification (if applicable)
