Overview

The Bar Cart Attendant is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.


This role will pay an hourly rate of $10.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities

  • Operates bar, cart, or other food concession stand for public gatherings, sports events, or other Golf Course activities and events.
  • Prepare cocktails, make drinks, dispense beverages on tap and in bottles as ordered by customer or table attendant.
  • Take customer orders; provide information on menu items, suggest certain products to customer to help with sales mix and increase sales, as appropriate.
  • Verify content of completed orders. Deliver and serve orders. Operate cash register to compute charges, present bill to customer and receive payments, make change as necessary.
  • Keep condiment containers cleaned and filled. Maintain side work areas in a clean and orderly fashion; keep stocked with appropriate items.
  • Maintain bar, cart, and dining area in a clean and orderly fashion; inspect beverages and glasses to ensure cleanliness; dust and polish furniture and fixtures, perform other cleaning chores as required.
  • Transfer, receive, store, rotate and inventory bar/beverage supplies. Prepare requisition slips for various supplies, such as fruits, mixes, beverages, glassware, etc., as needed.
  • Clear, total cash register at close of workday; deliver register tape and cash register tape and cash receipts to front desk.
  • Notify management of any shortages or problems concerning food and supplies.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Requires the use of simple writing, adding, subtracting, whole numbers and the carrying out of instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required.
  • Up to 3 months of effective experience.
  • Must be Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) certified or be willing to take the training as a condition of hire.
