Overview
The Banquet Busser supports banquet and catering service by maintaining clean, organized, and properly set dining and event areas. This position assists servers and banquet staff with clearing tables, resetting spaces, replenishing supplies, and providing efficient service support throughout events. The Banquet Busser works closely with the Banquet, Culinary, and Event Operations teams to ensure a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment for guests. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event schedules
This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 - $26.00

Responsibilities
- Assist banquet servers and service staff with setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Clear plates, glassware, silverware, and other service items from guest tables.
- Reset tables and dining areas quickly and accurately throughout events.
- Maintain clean and organized guest-facing and service areas.
- Replenish silverware, glassware, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining buffet and food service areas.
- Support servers with carrying and delivering food, beverages, and service items as directed.
- Respond promptly to guest and server requests.
- Monitor dining areas and remove used items as needed to maintain a clean appearance.
- Assist with room resets and event transitions when required.
- Transport used dishes and service items to designated dishwashing or staging areas.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and breakdown of dining areas.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Report spills, broken glass, damaged equipment, or other safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests, clients, and coworkers.
- Maintain a positive and team-oriented approach during high-volume service periods.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, banquet, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under time constraints.
- Must have reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous banquet, catering, hotel, restaurant, convention center, arena, or event experience.
- Experience working in high-volume food service environments.
