Overview
This AV Manager shall provide and oversee technical and media services for the facility including Convention audio/visual, production for The Selena Auditorium, and production for The American Bank Center Arena, including video production on our Daktronics center-hung, Daktronics LED ribbons, and various other technical services.
This role pays an annual salary of $50,000-$60,000.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and produce sporting events, graduations, family shows and spectacles from an in-house digital entertainment perspective.
- Provide audio visual for expos and conventions and technical services in these spaces.
- Schedule and train part time employees with audio/video equipment (cameras, mixers, playback, and switcher system, etc.) during A/V required events.
- Supervise video operation staff for events as they pertain to the LED center hung and LED ribbon boards.
- Communicate facility I.T. needs with the city and ensure the completion of those requests. Basic I.T. knowledge a plus.
- Manage the function of cable feed televisions and in house feeds to televisions throughout facility.
- Assist event staff and production staff as they relate to the LED center hung and LED ribbons.
- Keep accurate inventory of tools, machinery, cleaning supplies, and any related audio/visual equipment.
- Oversee production for the set and strike of portable sound systems, microphones, projectors, and lighting equipment for various events and internal needs.
- Assist Director of Operations with capital projects related to Audio Visual and technical needs for the facility.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of electronics, electrical systems and signal flow of Audio, Lighting, and Video systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of production systems and equipment including but not limited to lighting consoles, video switchers, replay systems, routers, audio mixers, cameras and video streaming equipment.
- Prior supervision of A/V and technical staff strongly preferred.
- Prior Daktronics and Show Control experience a plus.
- Experience with video streaming services and live event production
- Must be willing to learn new audio/video operations and workflows and be able to teach methods to part time production staff.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize and relay information to make appropriate recommendations for various productions.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
- Must have proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
