Overview
The Arena Audio Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio equipment used during events at the arena. This includes public address (PA) systems, monitors, microphones, mixing consoles, and any associated cabling or digital systems. The technician ensures high-quality sound delivery for a wide range of events including concerts, sports games, ceremonies, and other live performances.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$21.00.

Responsibilities
Operate, test, and maintain arena-wide audio systems before, during, and after events.
Set up microphones, speakers, mixing boards, and intercoms according to event requirements.
Work closely with event promoters, production crews, performers, and in-house staff to meet technical audio specifications.
Perform sound checks and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal sound quality.
Troubleshoot audio problems quickly and efficiently under pressure during live events.
Maintain and update inventory of all audio equipment and related supplies.
Coordinate with video and lighting staff to ensure full integration of production elements.
Assist with the installation of new audio equipment or upgrades as needed.
Follow all safety and code regulations pertaining to audio system setup and operations.
Document and log maintenance, issues, and resolutions.
