Overview
The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of team preparation, player development, and game strategy for the Reading Royals. This position plays a critical role in helping maintain a high-performance culture on and off the ice. The Assistant Coach contributes to practice planning, video analysis, individual skill development, and bench management, while serving as a positive leader and mentor to players.
This role pays an annual salary of $44,000-$52,000.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Previous coaching experience at the professional, collegiate, or junior hockey level preferred.
Strong understanding of hockey tactics, systems, and player development principles.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching staff and in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with video analysis tools and performance tracking software.
USA Hockey or equivalent coaching certification preferred.
Must pass a background check and uphold league and organizational conduct standards.
