Overview
The primary role of the 50/50 Raffle Ticket Sellers is to sell tickets for the 50/50 raffle at all Coachella Valley Firebird’s home games (pre-season, regular, and playoffs). The 50/50 raffle is fundraiser for the One Valley Foundation and its charitable partners, as well as engage and educate Firebird fans about this exciting in-game activity. The One Valley Foundation is committed to ensuring an inclusive community for our fans, united through a shared passion for sports. We aim to create greater opportunity and impact across the Coachella Valley through a variety of programs and legacy events focused on our three core pillars of Education, Community and Access to Hockey. 50/50 Raffle Sellers report to the Senior Director of Community Relations.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00

Responsibilities
- Actively sell, handle, and distribute 50/50 raffle tickets using a mobile handheld or stationary device during and prior to Firebirds hockey games.
- Effectively engage with Firebirds guests regarding the 50/50 Raffle and the One Valley Foundation in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurately reconcile sales with cash and credit card totals per game.
- Effectively meet and exceed established sales goals.
- Be a Firebirds ambassador during games and get fans excited about purchasing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a large and diverse fan base.
- Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and professional attitude.
- Cash handling experience and management of cash and credit reconciliation a plus.
- Motivated and goal-oriented to reach or exceed sales milestones.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment world.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 80% of Firebirds home games.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb up and down stairs multiple times during shift.
