As the Scheduling Specialist, You Will...
The Scheduling Specialist is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Operations within the Facility & Campus Operations Department. The position is responsible for overseeing the appropriate staffing and scheduling for event operations across the Hollywood Park campus. This position is responsible for departmental event settlements, invoices, and other department financials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with internal partners to ensure that all event operations and conversion needs are understood so staffing deployments are accurate and meet the needs of the business.

Coordinates Team Member availability and scheduling as necessary for the required scope of work.

Manages and reviews all electronic time records for team members to ensure accuracy for payroll processing and event reconciliation. This also includes managing time off requests and process, and providing direction and clarity to Team Members with scheduling, attendance, Paycor questions.

Submits all department invoices and labor finals for settlement purposes.

Produces projection of labor and material costing for event operations and conversions.

Assists with the task development, prioritization and quality control audits of the event operations and conversion scope of work to ensure that the highest standard of delivery and efficiency of labor are achieved.

Provides support to the Department with administrative tasks and duties.

Performs other duties as necessary and relevant.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant work experience.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in staffing, scheduling, or event planning and coordination roles.

High attention to detail.

Proficient in the use of computer applications with ability to quickly adapt to specialty applications, forms, file systems, and tools.

Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; able to communicate effectively and build rapport across the organization.

Demonstrated ability to manage a large queue of tasks, self-prioritize, and remain organized.

Must be able to successfully traverse the various levels and areas of the Hollywood Park campus with ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

Flexible schedule required; must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
