About Hollywood Park

Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.

Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.

As the Director of Privacy, You Will...
 
The Director of Privacy will strategically lead, design, and oversee the enterprise-wide data privacy compliance program across Hollywood Park, SoFi Stadium, and associated digital and physical entities. Serving as a high-level trusted advisor, this role is accountable for establishing the vision and framework for enterprise privacy policies, governing advanced computerized privacy administration tools (including the Consent Management Platform), architecting the data subject access request (DSAR) compliance infrastructure, and directing cross-functional tracking technology compliance across all digital entertainment and venue properties.

More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…
 
Strategic Privacy Governance & Policy Leadership
  • Formulate Enterprise Policies: Lead the architectural design, drafting, modification, and implementation of global organizational policies to guarantee comprehensive data privacy compliance.
  • Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Direct the ongoing analysis of evolving privacy compliance best practices, global legislative movements, and regulatory enforcement trends to proactively adapt internal controls.
  • Privacy by Design Initiatives: Act as the primary stakeholder to evaluate high-stakes business initiatives, emerging commercial strategies, and new technology rollouts to identify systemic privacy risks and dictate strategic remediation.
Enterprise Data Governance, Consent, & Digital Compliance
  • Govern Privacy Infrastructure: Oversee the enterprise application architecture of the centralized Consent Management Platform (CMP) to track, document, investigate, and resolve data privacy workflows.
  • Direct Digital Asset Compliance: Provide executive oversight over compliance regarding cookie and tracking technologies (including pixels, web beacons, and SDKs) across all guest-facing and internal digital properties.
  • Cross-Departmental Alignment: Partner directly with senior Digital Marketing leadership to maintain an exhaustive, active inventory of web signals, ensuring accurate routing and seamless integration with the CMP.
  • Uphold Consumer Choice Rights: Ensure the absolute integrity of consumer-facing preference centers (e.g., "Your Privacy Choices"), verifying that user selections to reject performance, analytics, or targeted advertising cookies are structurally honored.
  • Accountability & SLA Enforcement: Establish and enforce operational throughput metrics and quality benchmarks for DSAR processing, ensuring strict adherence to the mandated 10-day window for opt-outs and 30-day window for access, correction, and deletion requests.
  • Matrixed Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to Line of Business (LoB) Data Managers charged with localized data discovery, identity authentication, and system-level data modifications.
Incident Management, Investigation, & Escalation
  • Lead High-Stakes Investigations: Direct comprehensive investigations into complex privacy complaints, data concerns, and internal compliance anomalies.
  • Triage & Crisis Response: Oversee the rapid mitigation of urgent operational privacy vulnerabilities, including fraud indicators, vendor data incidents, and third-party noncompliance.
  • Executive Collaboration: Partner directly with Corporate Counsel and act as the Privacy Officer to adjudicate sensitive privacy appeals, authorize policy exceptions, and manage high-risk regulatory communications.
Cross-Functional Governance & Vendor Risk Management
  • Cultivate Privacy Culture: Champion and authorize widespread employee training programs to instill a unified, proactive culture of data privacy and compliance across the organization.
  • Inter-Departmental Steering: Align with executive leadership in Human Resources, Legal, and Technology to systematically monitor and audit the enforcement of data protection standards across the enterprise.
  • Third-Party Vendor Oversight: Direct the cross-functional enforcement strategies for vendor compliance, prioritizing immediate escalations when external partners fail to execute downstream data privacy obligations, such as deletions or opt-outs.
We’d Love to Hear From People With…
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Information Technology, or a related field required. Juris Doctor (JD) or an advanced degree in corporate compliance is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Professional privacy designations (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT) are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience managing data privacy compliance, legal operations, or data governance programs, with at least 3 years in a dedicated leadership or director-level role.
  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise directing Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), cookie tracking frameworks, and data subject access request (DSAR) fulfillment systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven capacity to manage matrixed teams, influence senior executives, and lead high-risk, cross-functional incident mitigation teams.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000/year

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
