Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading event staffing and scheduling operations by assigning appropriately trained personnel, maintaining accurate training and certification records, and ensuring full coverage across all events using ABI Mastermind. The role acts in an Event Management capacity to oversee staff performance, implement quality assurance programs, and ensure all event operations meet client and vendor expectations while proactively resolving issues. In partnership with recruiting, HR, and branch leadership, this position supports hiring, training, performance management, discipline, and terminations, while maintaining high employee morale and minimizing turnover. Additionally, the role drives operational efficiency by managing schedules, inventory, procurement, timekeeping compliance, and cost-control initiatives to maximize staff utilization and meet business objectives.
General Responsibilities
- Support all public safety and emergency response activities across a large, complex operating environment.
- As needed serve as the lead authority for escalated safety or security incidents until public safety partners assume control.
- Manage security officers, supervisors, and event personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll oversight, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, post orders, operating procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain and update operational documentation, including incident guides, security procedures, deployment plans, and emergency reference materials.
- Maintain consistent visibility and awareness across all operational zones and high-traffic areas.
- Attend operational briefings, planning meetings, walk-throughs, and debriefs as needed.
- Build positive working relationships that promote a collaborative approach to safety and service.
- Prepare deployment materials, including staff grids, assignments, access plans, and incident-response instructions.
- Complete accurate event closeout paperwork, incident reports, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Produce timely reports, including incident documentation, injury reports, training records, and operational summaries.
- Utilize internal systems for staffing, scheduling, billing, and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct audits of posts, equipment, logs, training records, and overall safety readiness.
