Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

 

Job Summary:

The Ambassador serves as a welcoming and visible presence throughout Golden 1 Center, delivering exceptional guest service and creating positive, memorable experiences for all fans and visitors. This role assists guests with venue information, accessibility needs, crowd flow, and event support while maintaining a professional, friendly, and proactive approach to guest engagement.

This is a part-time, event-based position. Event team members must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the Golden 1 Center event calendar.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and responding to questions, concerns, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with wayfinding and direct them to restrooms, concessions, guest services, security, first aid, and other venue amenities.
  • Monitor entrances, concourses, and assigned areas to support guest flow and notify supervisors when congestion or operational concerns arise.
  • Assist guests with accessibility needs, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices.
  • Support ticket relocations and assist with ticket-related concerns, escalating issues to supervisors when appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of event schedules, promotions, venue amenities, merchandise locations, and operational updates.
  • Monitor assigned areas for potential safety concerns, disruptions, or hazards and respond appropriately or notify supervisors as needed.
  • Respond to guest feedback and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Remain knowledgeable about emergency evacuation procedures and assist with guest direction during emergencies.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, event, or related experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work accurately and courteously under pressure.
  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
