Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Private Event Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a couple of years of professional experience who is eager to expand their horizons with a larger facility. The successful candidate will focus on generating new private event opportunities by prospecting and building their own pipeline of leads.
Your primary responsibility will be to introduce prospective clients to Frontwave Arena, build relationships, and schedule tours of the venue. This position is a crucial first step in the client journey and offers excellent growth opportunities for a driven individual.
Key Responsibilities
· Proactively prospect and identify new leads for private events (corporate gatherings, weddings, parties, nonprofit events, etc.).
· Develop and manage a personal pipeline of prospective clients.
· Make outbound calls, send outreach emails, and leverage networking opportunities to connect with decision-makers.
· Introduce potential clients to Frontwave Arena’s event capabilities and schedule venue tours.
· Track outreach activity, lead status and outcomes.
· Represent Frontwave Arena professionally at community and networking events as needed.
Qualifications
· 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field (hospitality, events, or entertainment industry preferred).
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building relationships.
· Self-motivated with the ability to independently find and develop leads.
· Willingness to learn, grow, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Comfortable making outreach calls and networking with new contacts.
· Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.
Compensation Range: Base compensation of 25/hr plus 2025 commission plan based on approved structure.
