GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for assisting management and department heads in event operations and branch administration. Partners with internship cohort to complete capstone project(s) under the guidance of the Internship Coordinator. Ensures branch compliance with all local licensing and employment regulations. Works with branch management to administer policies, programs and services, including legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices, and procedures, by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties below reflect the minimum requirements for this position.
• Learns and understands the basic functions of all operational positions at the branch level sufficient to perform any such function unsupervised upon completion of training.
• Reviews, understands, and implements local licensing requirements.
• Reviews, understands, and implements employment regulations.
• Reviews general business climate and client needs and adjusts staffing and planning as needed.
• Ensures timely and accurate invoicing of clients.
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of employee payroll.
• Ensures proper employee documentation is completed as required by local/state/federal regulations.
• Maintains ongoing contact with clients regarding service. Interfaces directly with clients to resolve problems.
• Advises supervisors on disciplinary and termination procedures.
• Assists Operations Directors and Senior Event Managers in management of orientation and training programs for new employees.
• Fosters a workplace environment consistent with the values and vision of the company.
• Meets deadlines, prioritizes company assignments and maintains professional composure under dynamic conditions.
• Maintains general safety program to include conducting periodic inspections and safety programs on a regular basis.
• Reports all unsafe practices to management.
• Travels to various job sites to provide supervision and field representation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by branch management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees in the office and at client events at the direction of the Operations Directors and Senior Event Managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems and client relations.

Potential candidates must be in pursuit of a collegiate degree; preferably, but not necessarily, in Event or Sports Management with experience and/or interest in Crowd Management or a related industry.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Must become proficient on company Protatech Scheduling program and SORT online training program.
