Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) is hiring Event Staff to support sports, entertainment, and special events throughout New Hampshire, with a primary focus on events at the University of New Hampshire (UNH).
This is a great opportunity to be part of the team supporting UNH Athletics, university events, and other events throughout the New Hampshire area. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent guest service, and being part of a fast-paced event environment, we want to meet you!
Position Overview
Event Staff provide general support for events, including ticket taking, ushering, guest services, crowd management, access control, and other event operations. Team members should be dependable, professional, observant, flexible, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- $17.00/hr for Event Staff, $20.00/hr for Security Guard
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Provide directions and assist guests with locating seating, entrances, exits, and venue amenities.
- Support ticket taking, guest admissions, ushering, access control, and other event operations.
- Follow CSC operating procedures, safety policies, and supervisor/event manager directives.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, fellow event staff, venue personnel, and guests.
- Observe and report safety or security concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with crowd management and provide operational support wherever needed.
- Maintain awareness of your assigned venue, post, and event area.
- Assist with break relief and support fellow team members as assigned.
- Properly use and safeguard company-issued equipment, including two-way radios when provided.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow all CSC uniform requirements.

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
