POSITION: Operations & 24-Hour Security Manager
SALARY: $42,000-$48,000
COMMITMENT: Full-Time

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for working with the branch manager in the planning and developing of strategies for all aspects of service and oversight of daily operations of the local branch office. These daily operations include management of events and the 24-hour security operation, recruiting, hiring, training, and retention. Ensures branch compliance with all local licensing and employment regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties below reflect the minimum requirements for this position.
- Reviews, understands, and implements local licensing requirements.
- Reviews, understands, and implements employment regulations.
- Reviews general business climate and client needs and adjusts staffing and planning as needed.
- Develops staffing plan, deployments, and event estimates for the venue
- Assists the Branch Manager in acting as representative for public relations activities with clients, partners, and potential clients.
- Ensures proper employee documentation is completed as required by local/state/federal regulations.
- Maintains ongoing contact with clients regarding service. Interfaces directly with clients to resolve problems.
- Manages supervisors/staff responsible for 24 Hour responsibilities on event and non-event days.
- Prepares a weekly schedule for the Dispatchers and Staff Guards, always ensuring full coverage of the stadium.
- Ensure 24 Hour Guards are adequately prepared for event and non-event.
- Coordinates with client to ensure the building is being provided with the best coverage.
- Work with the Branch Manager to maintain appropriate staffing levels, including the hiring of new staff and 24-Hour Guards
- Work Dispatch and Staff Guard shifts as needed to continually interact with the 24-Hour guards and maintain positive relationships with them.
- Attend meetings and maintain constant flow of communication with the client and the 24-hour staff.
- Maintains branch office files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis per company retention policies, and creating new filing systems as needed.
- Interacts with employees and clients in a professional manner.
- Fosters a workplace environment consistent with the values and vision of the company.
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes company assignments, and maintains professional composure under dynamic conditions.
- Reports all unsafe practices to management.
- Travels to various job sites to provide supervision and field representation.
- Obtain and maintain in good standing all required licenses and certifications, including without limitation, security, TCM, NIMS, and TEAM licenses or certifications.
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
- Assists the Branch Manager in orientation and training program requirements for welcoming and integrating new employees.
- Teach and enforce operation policy and standards.
- Direct, communicate with and “brief” event day staff.
- Ensure staff is adequately prepared for events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by senior branch management, corporate officers, and regional managers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees in the office and at client events. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree; and related experience and/or training in crowd management field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of direct experience with Event Management & 24-Hour Security.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATH ABILITY:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Explorer; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft PowerPoint; and Microsoft Share point. Must become proficient on company Protatech Scheduling program and SORT online training program.
