Job Description: 
This role will report to the Lacrosse Operations Manager and work primarily in support of the Greater Philadelphia College Box Lacrosse League (GPCBLL) and the Wings’ Jr. NLL Tournament team(s).  With the GPCBLL, this individual will serve as an essential piece of the operational team responsible for organizing and executing various League matters, while simultaneously making oneself available as a key point of contact for members of the Jr. NLL Tournament team(s). Additionally, this individual will provide broader support to the wider organization as it plans and prepares for the 2024-2025 season, which will include Free Agency, the Entry Draft, and Training Camp.
 
Candidates can expect to work an average of 15-20 hours/week from June through mid-September with the potential to extend into the Fall.  During the summer months, availability on Tuesday and Wednesday nights is required, and the remainder of the weekly schedule will be based on business needs. 
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
·  Broad and in-depth involvement with the Greater Philadelphia College League Box Lacrosse League. Examples include coordination of and communication with League referees, setup and breakdown of game venues, recording game statistics, uploading game footage, assisting with the league’s social media, maintaining team rosters and player profiles, and general communication with the coaches and players.
·  Supporting the Lacrosse Operations Manager in building out needs for the upcoming 2024-2025 season including travel and logistics for players, team finances, and ordering of team gear.
·  Help plan key events like Wings Training Camp and Wings Development Camp.
·  Help manage team finances and build out budget trackers for the season.
·  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  
 
Requirements:  
·   Previous experience playing lacrosse 
·   Microsoft Excel/ PowerPoint Proficient  
·   Prior experience recording lacrosse statistics a plus
·   Knowledge of current social media trends 
·   Must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program  
·   Strong leadership skills and exceptional organizations skills  
·   Deadline-driven with strong sense of priority and follow-through  
·  Must be available to work Tuesday nights 
·  Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., 
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
