24/7 Assistant Security Manager
 

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Account Manager/Area Manager, the 24/7 Assistant Security Manager ensures proper building security controls including technical projects and processes for the company in accordance with company policies and procedures; oversee and manage building staff including team leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Oversee and coordinate scheduling of all staff on 24/7 Security Team
·         Manage the building security controls and technical projects and processes for the company to ensure safety and security of all employees, visitors and assets
·         Oversee and manage security staff including training, coaching, mentoring to optimize performance and ensure compliance with company policies
·         Assist the Account Manager/Area Manager with necessary events including the planning, coordinating and directing of operations
·         Travel to regional meetings acting as liaison to local law enforcement, local event management and company staff as needed
·         Lead and assist in investigations and crisis management using technology and working with clients; may be required to provide documentation and consultation in response to legal action
·        Foster and develop cooperative relationship with local law enforcement
·         Properly handle all Company equipment, including radios, computer equipment, flashlight, uniforms, etc.
·         Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Minimum Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or Equivalent
·         Minimum of five (5) years of security experience
·         Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing people and teams at an account producing no less than 1100 HPW
·         Previous military, EMS or law enforcement experience preferred

Physical and Mental Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, it is required to frequently to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours). On occasion, may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions.

Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
