Event Management: Event Operations/Management
Job Summary: 
Responsible for the development, implementation, and leadership of the national events department within BEST Crowd Management.  The position will oversee all aspects of the national events department, including annual and temporary major events throughout the country. Leads National Event Managers, Event Services Coordinators, guest services, and/or security staff members in executing national events. Establishes and maintains key client relations with various leagues and event organizers. Reports to the Senior Director, Experience & Event Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
•Manage national event operations, including planning, staffing, logistics, client relations, budget management/cost containment, and internal communications
•Support operational delivery of secondary events assigned by the Senior Director
•Engages with assigned national event venues and clients on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis to garner collaboration and seek feedback to strengthen operations and performance
•Make recommendations on improvements to existing operating policies, standards, and procedures to 
safeguard the company within the organization
.  In addition, recommend and implement new policies to strengthen the national events department
• Responsible for the leadership, development, coaching, and oversight of National Event Managers
and Event Services Coordinators
•Responsible for establishing a recruiting, hiring and onboarding plan for event staff required 
•Work hand in hand with our Talent Acquisition Department to develop employee recruiting plans to ensure proper staffing for our national events
• Deliver operational and service training for all national events
• Execute national event logistics, which includes the implementation of internal systems and determining 
equipment and supplies necessary
• Implement service measurement best practices and procedures for all national events, including the 
review of guest, client, and team member feedback as an effort to improve our national event operations 
• Travel to inspect national event sites for planning purposes and to engage with clients
•Responsible for providing event estimates, staffing diagrams and event documentation for national events
•Responsible for the financial profitability of the national events department
•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Director

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Successful applicant must pass a background check and required drug screening
• Willing to travel up to 50% each month to assigned accounts and projects
Valid Driver’s License 
• Minimum of seven(7)years of event management experience at a sports/entertainment venue, with an emphasis in security, guest services and venue management
• Background in a fast paced, ever changing business environment 
• Experience growing a business at a rapid pace
• Passionate and service focused leader motivated by positive interactions with team members, clients,
and guests
• Ability to work events during nights and weekends when assigned

 Physical and Mental Demands: 

While performing the duties of this job, it is required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. On occasion, it may be 
required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions.

Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The position is a remote position with frequent requirements to travel and work at or attend scheduled events in an outdoor environment.
