Position Summary 
The Cleaning Services Manager provides strategic leadership and overall accountability for all cleaning and housekeeping operations at U.S. Bank Stadium. This role is responsible for setting department standards, managing budgets and labor, overseeing vendors, and ensuring the venue consistently meets first-class cleanliness and safety expectations for all events.

Venue Info
U.S. Bank Stadium, owned by the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. With over 66,000 seats, this state-of-the-art facility hosts a dynamic range of events, including the Minnesota Vikings, concerts, family shows, college and high school sporting events, conventions, trade and consumer shows, community events, corporate meetings, receptions, private celebrations, and guided tours. Since opening in July 2016, U.S. Bank Stadium has hosted 2,000 events with over 10.3 million guests.

Supervisory Responsibilities
•    Provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the Cleaning Services department, ensuring all operations are executed in compliance with applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while delivering a clean, safe, and first-class environment throughout the facility.
•    Directly supervises Cleaning Services Assistant Managers, establishing clear expectations and holding leadership staff accountable for managing union and non-union personnel in accordance with labor agreements, work rules, and established operating procedures.
•    Establishes department goals, service standards, and performance expectations, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated, consistently applied, and aligned with the terms of applicable CBAs, including scope of work, job classifications, staffing ratios, and work practices.
•    Holds final authority for hiring, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations, in coordination with Human Resources and in accordance with collective bargaining agreements, progressive discipline standards, and due-process requirements.
•    Approves staffing models, labor budgets, schedules, and third-party vendor utilization, ensuring appropriate use of union labor, overtime, shift assignments, and vendor support in compliance with CBAs, while balancing operational needs and financial controls.
•    Serves as the final escalation point for operational, staffing, labor-relations, and performance issues, including contract interpretation, employee conduct concerns, and dispute resolution, working collaboratively with Human Resources and union representatives as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•    Develops, implements, and enforces comprehensive cleaning standards, procedures, and service levels for all areas of the facility, including seating bowls, concourses, suites, clubs, restrooms, offices, back-of-house spaces, and exterior plazas, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
•    Provides strategic leadership for all event-driven cleaning operations, overseeing pre-event, event-time, and post-event cleaning activities to ensure seamless execution across multiple, concurrent events while maintaining a consistently first-class guest experience.
•    Establishes annual, seasonal, and event-specific labor plans, including staffing models, headcounts, shift structures, and contingency plans, to support operational demands, contractual obligations, and budgetary targets.
•    Manages departmental operating budgets and third-party vendor contracts, including forecasting, cost control, invoice review, and performance management, ensuring fiscal accountability while meeting service-level expectations.
•    Oversees deep cleaning programs and capital equipment initiatives, including lifecycle planning, procurement, deployment, and replacement of cleaning equipment and technologies, coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and external vendors as required.
•    Conducts routine audits, inspections, and performance reviews, evaluating cleanliness standards, safety compliance, staffing effectiveness, and vendor performance, and implements corrective actions as needed.
•    Supports and participates in events occurring outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, providing leadership presence, decision-making authority, and real-time issue resolution.
•    Other duties as assigned related to events in and around US Bank Stadium.

Qualifications & Skills
•    Proficiency in general office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
•    Working knowledge of safety programs, OSHA standards, and workplace safety practices.
•    Strong ability to follow and issue verbal and written instructions clearly and effectively.
•    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
•    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event demands.
•    Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Minimum Education & Experience
•    High School diploma or GED required.
•    Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar role within a large facility environment, preferably a sports or entertainment venue.
•    Demonstrated experience purchasing and managing housekeeping supplies and cleaning equipment.
•    Prior experience supervising staff in a fast-paced, event-driven environment preferred.
