State Farm Stadium 
Completed in August of 2006, State Farm Stadium has set the standard in multi-purpose NFL Facilities. The stadium is home to a variety of different events including Arizona Cardinals home games, the annual Fiesta Bowl, international soccer matches, motorsports, trade & consumer shows, and corporate & social functions.
Designed with a roll-out natural grass field and retractable roof, the first of its kind in North America, the stadium is capable of converting from a sports facility to a multi-functional event space allowing it to host numerous event types in air-conditioned comfort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following, other duties may be assigned:
  • Accurately maintain records of labor time, parts used, and work accomplished.
  • Primary responsibility will be the maintenance, inspection, calibration, and repair of all electrical systems and associated equipment mentioned above.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Performance of all corrective and preventive maintenance duties related to the above-mentioned systems. 
  • Responds and takes appropriate actions (on-site & off-site) in the event of emergency or critical incidents, i.e. system failures, fires, flooding, or other emergencies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required in a team-oriented, can-do environment. 
Qualifications 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Experience in all phases of electrical work, including 480 volt 3 phase 208 volt single phase 277 lighting power and 120  volt house hold current
  • A complete working knowledge of all electrical tools, testers, meters, and gauging devices. VOM’s amp meters, load devises, circuit testers, toners, etc
  • The electrician needs to know how, and use; safety equipment, lock out – tag out devices and all other means to protect himself and others
  • The candidate needs to have a good knowledge of low voltage and control panel trouble shooting procedures
  • The electrician needs to be proficient in installation of switches, outlets, disconnects, breakers, installing fuses, and putting together cable ends and splicing wires.
  • Ability to trouble shoot electrical problems, wire electrical motors and devices, change voltage on motors and test equipment for shorts, loose connection, etc.
  • Knowledge of all work involved with the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all audio and video equipment related to inside radio-television, sound and public address system, recording equipment, and electrical appliances including television sets.
  • Thorough understanding of all electrical work related to fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, heating and air conditioning equipment, building automated systems, DDC &VFD drives, escalators and elevators.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines and function under stress.
  • Possesses computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with electronic preventive maintenance programs preferred. 
  • Ability to climb stairs, lift 40 lbs unaided and perform work at high heights.
  • Must be familiar with OSHA requirements.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
Skills and Abilities 
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in general electrical installation, repair, and maintenance of all electrical related building systems.
  • Completion of twelfth grade with specialized training in electrical installation and/or maintenance. Trade School or apprentice program.
  • Possession of Electrical license is highly desirable.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Computer Skills  
To perform this job successfully, the individual should have some computer skills.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member
  • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
