We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Premium Buffet Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining high-quality buffet offerings that meet elevated standards of taste, appearance, and consistency. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume cooking environments and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes for premium buffet service, including hot and cold items.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain consistent portioning and minimize food waste.
  • Monitor buffet stations, replenishing items promptly and maintaining an attractive display.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with menu planning and development of new buffet offerings.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
  • Properly store food and manage inventory levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cook in a buffet, hotel, resort, or high-volume food service environment.
  • Knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary certification or training is a plus.
