THE ROLE 

We are looking for a Venue Technology Assistant to join our team at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As a Venue Tech Assistant, you will provide timely and professional IT support for food and beverage and retail systems for Highmark Stadium. If you are looking to be a part of the excitement and energy of live stadium events, this is your opportunity to join a fast-paced and team-oriented environment!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot point of sale systems, including terminals, receipt printers, scanners, and payment devices  

• Replace defective hardware as needed 

• Conduct stadium walk-throughs to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events 

• Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues for wired and wireless devices  

• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training 

• Complete other duties as assigned by management

• Preferred experience with point of sale 

• Preferred knowledge in general networking 

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion 

• Strong communication skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

• Able to quickly adapt to changes and work in a fast paced environment 

• Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and as a team player 

 
COMPENSATION  

Competitive salary of $19-22 per hour commensurate with experience 

WORKING CONDITION 

Location: New Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY  

This is a part time seasonal position that requires working events at Highmark Stadium- this includes weekends, evenings, and holidays as the Buffalo Bills schedule dictates. Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to walk long distances 

• Constant standing, walking, lifting, crouching, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.  

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.  

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs. 

• Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights
