Compensation: $21.40 an hour

Classification: Part-Time, non-exempt

Location: ONT Field

Position Description:  The Premium Server is responsible for delivering a seamless, elevated guest experience for all suite and VIP clients across the arena’s premium hospitality areas. This position supports all aspects of day-of-event premium food and beverage service, including event setup, in-seat and suite service, and guest interaction. Working in close partnership with the Premium F&B Manager and Premium Supervisor, the Premium Server helps ensure all client expectations are executed with excellence and attention to detail.

This position is rooted in exceptional service, operational precision, and real-time problem solving. Candidates should bring a polished, professional demeanor and a passion for delivering high-touch hospitality experiences. A background in hotels, luxury events, private clubs, or fine dining is strongly preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to suite holders, VIP guests, and premium hospitality clients during events.
  • Prepare suites, lounges, and premium areas before guest arrival, ensuring cleanliness, presentation standards, and service readiness.
  • Accurately deliver food and beverage orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, specialty items, and beverage selections.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, concerns, or service recovery situations.
  • Assist with stocking, replenishment, and breakdown of premium service areas before, during, and after events.
  • Ensure all premium spaces maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance standards throughout events.
  • Follow all alcohol service guidelines and responsible beverage service procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
  • Support additional premium hospitality functions as assigned by management.

Experience/Training/Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, catering, premium dining, hotel banquet service, or upscale food & beverage operations preferred
  • Previous experience in sports and entertainment venues, luxury hospitality, or VIP service environments strongly preferred.
  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic math and cash handling experience
  • Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
  • Daily lifting and carrying up to 20-50 lbs. up to 10 minutes at a time
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

License/Certificate:
A valid food handler’s card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 20-50 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Must be able to pass the background.
