Concessions Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately opening, mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests, ID every transaction, take beverage orders directly from guests
Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards, follow alcohol policy for the building.
Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
Check identification of guests every transaction to verify age requirements for purchase of up to 2 servings of alcohol
Handle an assigned bank and follow all cash handling procedures if in cash stand or use MyVenue following PCI to charge guests correctly.
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, front of cabinets, wipe down bottles, etc. as needed
Organize work-station storage areas
Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, and follow all building alcohol policy
Complete other duties as assigned by the Concessions Manager and/or Concessions Supervisor, as well as Legends management.
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
TEAM Alcohol Server certification, or ability to complete training (offered at new hire orientation).
Willingness to work in an outdoor stadium subject to adversarial weather (ex. freezing temperatures, rain, sleet, snow & hot, mid-summer days)
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Experience as a bartender for at least two years
Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, as well as execute one-of-a-kind drinks for promotions and special events.
Must be able to create and serve drinks in a timely manner
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance
Ability to work independently or in a team during set up and execution of service
Willingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations
Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
Must be personable, friendly and welcoming.
Ability to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis. Remain standing for the shift, while serving guests and opening twist bottles.
Must have a working email to communicate with the Concessions and Legends management teams.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
Must be available for the majority of Colorado Rapids games, which take place on Saturdays & Wednesdays:

May 9th, 23rd
July 22nd
August 1st, 15th, 19th, 29th
September 12th, 19th
October 10th, 14th, 24th, 31st.
Colorado Rapids 2 minor league games (Sundays)
