Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator provides organizational support to the private events sales department.
Essential Functions
  • Support private event sales at U.S. Bank Stadium.
  • Identify potential customers and market segments to target for stadium private event sales.
  • Conduct market research to gather leads, identify trends, and competitor activities for potential private events.
  • Manage incoming lead portal and qualify all in-bound leads before advancing to the director of sales.
  • Assist with creation of proposals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage client communication and relationships.
  • Use venue knowledge to provide clients with pricing, space, and usage options and for specific event needs.
  • Maintain and organize accurate and up to date client records, sales activity reports and other relevant documentation using CRM software or other sales tools.
  • Represent stadium private events at tradeshows and community events.
  • Assist with hosting current and potential clients during U.S. Bank Stadium events.
  • Create contracts and follow processes for booking private events.
  • Conducts tours of building for prospective clients, when requested.
  • Ability to work all major stadium events to assist on site as assigned.
  • Know and ensure all laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergency procedures are followed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Attend weekly sales staff meetings.
  • This position requires the ability to work flexible, sometimes long hours which include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:          
  • Four-year college degree
  • Two years’ experience working within a sales department
Skills and Abilities:        
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
  • Digideck experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to read schematics and CADs.
  • Ability to use all office equipment, computer, calculator, copy machines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
  • Maintains high standards, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
Computer Skills  
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Digideck and booking software experience a plus.
