Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has excellent and immediate openings for IT Technicians at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE.
 
Under general supervision of the Operations Director and the Technology Supervisors, you will be working in an IT & AV environment like few others.
 
This is a challenging and fast paced Industry where no two days are the same. You will be exposed to a unique blend of the IT and AV worlds, along with enjoying a variety of Concerts/Sporting Events/Misc Events. 
 

Essential Duties

Includes the following, but aren’t limited to:
·  Assist with Repair/Inventory of all Network Equipment including PCs & Laptops/Peripherals/Servers/Switches.
·  Provide Help Desk Support for Windows versions, MS Office 365 programs, Outlook, and a variety of other programs.
·  Aid in Window Server 2012/2016/2019 Management.
·  Work with IT/AV related Software/Hardware.  IPTV Software, Set Top’s, and 300+ TVs.
·  Work with PBA WiFi Networks. 200+ AP Software/Hardware.
·  Work with Scoreboard/Ribbon Board Software/Hardware and Daktronics Software/Hardware.  
·  Work with Musco Sports Lighting, Lutron Systems, and Sound Software/Hardware  
·  Update and maintain Allo VoIP Phone Systems.
·  Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights and weekends, as needed.
·  Maintain attitude of “do whatever it takes.”
 

Skills Required

This position requires ability to:
·         Demonstrate proper knowledge and technique in the use and maintenance of Desktop and Laptop computers.
·         Demonstrate proper knowledge and technique in the use of Microsoft Windows Software, Microsoft Office Products, Basic Routing and Networking (Cisco), Basic Server Maintenance and Cabling.
·         Cisco Managed Switch Programming a plus.
·         Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment, and tools used in technical construction and maintenance.
·         Possess knowledge and experience in industry terminology, event-related services, facility capabilities and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility. 
·         Possess an understanding of facility’s electrical, mechanical, and other systems.
·         Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.

·         Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.
·         Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
·         Meet physical demands of job, which entail climbing, lifting, and carrying.
·         Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
·         Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university/or Equivalent Certifications and two years related experience and/or training – or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
