Summary
Wind Creek Event Center has an immediate opening for a part-time Box Office Ticket Seller – Premium Sales. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while selling tickets for live events, assisting patrons with inquiries, and ensuring a seamless and positive guest experience.

This 3500 seat venue features world class music and comedy acts  and holds a positions as a top ranked venue in the world of its kind... Located adjacent to the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino, the facility is a premier entertainment destination in the Lehigh Valley.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, responds promptly to customer needs, responds to requests for service and assistance.
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and patron inquiries, providing clear, accurate, and courteous information.
  • Process ticket sales efficiently while proactively upselling to enhance customer experience and maximize revenue.
  • Responsible for in-person and phone ticket sales using Ticketmaster for the event center.
  • Handles Will-Call according to procedures
  • Answers patron questions efficiently and courteously concerning event availability, pricing, seat selection, scheduling, and parking.
  • Support Corporate VIP / Suite sales., Membership sales, Group Sales, and hospitality packages. 
  • Maintain corporate partners database list and maximize Group Sales.
  • Resolves guest concerns within scope of authority, escalating when necessary.
  • Accurately manages and balances cash drawers with various tender types.
  • Works independently and handles most questions without assistance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent communication skills as well as people skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
  • Communicates effectively in English, both written and oral forms
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple computing programs related to ticket selling.
  • Ability to use computer software and POS systems accurately.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience preferred. 
  • Previous experience in a box office, entertainment venue, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Background in sales preferred.
  • Ticketmaster experience preferred.
  • Salary Range $16 - $20 an hour based on experience.
