Summary  
Wind Creek Event Center has an immediate opening for part-time Barbacks. This position supports bartending staff by ensuring all bar service areas are fully stocked, clean, organized, and always operating efficiently. Barbacks are responsible for assisting in the replenishment of beverages and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction and beverage quality. 

Project Description 
This 3,500-seat venue features world-class music and comedy acts and holds a position as a top-ranked venue of its kind. Located adjacent to the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino, the facility is a premier entertainment destination in the Lehigh Valley. 
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Assist bartenders and beer tenders with stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of bar service areas
  • Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items, including glassware, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments, mixers, and related products
  • Transport and replenish beverages and supplies throughout assigned bar areas as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar and service areas throughout events
  • Remove empty glassware, trash, and debris from bar areas in a timely manner
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of bar stations before, during, and after events.
  • Support bartending staff with basic service needs under direction as required
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines and venue policies
  • Assist with maintaining an efficient and professional guest service environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory or management staff

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with bartenders, staff, vendors, and guests as needed
  • Ability to remain calm, use sound judgment, and respond appropriately in high-pressure or high-volume bar and event environments
  • Knowledge of basic bar operations, sanitation standards, and food and beverage safety practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing event conditions and maintain professionalism in loud or high-activity settings.
  • Ability to maintain efficiency while performing physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and transporting supplies
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to identify and report safety or operational concerns

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Prior hospitality, food and beverage, or high-volume venue experience preferred
  • Previous barback, restaurants, arenas, or entertainment venues, experiences are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Reliable transportation and availability based on event schedules.
