POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a key member of a team assigned to the sales of all premium hospitality inventories, with a focus on multi-year contracts at STAPLES Center and Microsoft Theater at LA Live. All premium suites and seats include the Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks sports teams along with access to concerts and special events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Execute effective corporate sales calls and customized presentations promoting the purchase and retention of premium ticket inventory in order to meet/exceed established sales objectives.
Proactively network, solicit and follow-up on any personal sales leads under the guidelines established by supervisors..
Will participate in regular meetings with the Director of Premium Sales to establish best processes and strategies for driving new business and retaining existing clients
Work extended days and hours (including holidays and weekends) hosting events, client entertainment and other activities as required.
Responsible for a minimum of 5 outside meeting per week with premium prospects
Work closely with other members of the Premium Department to ensure inventory integrity, high levels of customer service and enhance overall team performance.

Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Must possess basic computer skills using such programs as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by AEG from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.

Upon employment, the employee is required to fully comply with AEG rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities. Employees who violate these rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years of sales experience selling to top-level executives. Must have proven experience in negotiating with the ability to improvise. Must have the ability to network and create relationships while working efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.

Licenses or certificates:
No special licenses required.

Grooming:
The employee must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (Please see AEG Human Resources Policies and Procedures).
