 Responsibilities include:

  • Working with CSM Leadership to shape and develop the future of the newly established experiential department: CSM Brand Experience

  • Working closely with the leadership team to identify and support new business opportunities – experience in pitches and client proposals

  • Overseeing and running some of the Brand Experience team’s key clients based across F1, Football, Formula E, MLB & Cricket,  implement new and existing client campaigns from strategy through to delivery

  • A strategic perspective will be required to lead on client development and new business, from developing concepts to making clear activation strategies to deliver.

  • Using your industry knowledge and innovative ideas to deliver a variety of high profile projects in the live environment

  • Main point of contact for the client throughout the lifecycle of the project, guiding the client through all phases of development, production and delivery

  • Create and manage the project plan on an ongoing basis, ensuring all activities are scheduled, responsibilities are allocated to internal and external teams, and key milestones are met

  • Briefing and management of suppliers, stakeholders, production crews

  • Maintaining awareness of latest health and safety guidelines and risk assessment processes, continually evaluating and mitigating project risk, working closely external health and safety consultants as required

  • Maintain a good overall understanding of live production solutions and suppliers which will positively benefit the work of the agency for our clients

  • Have an interest in digital techniques to implement into the live environment

  • Building long term client relationships, becoming a strategic partner to clients, that lead to repeat business

Self / Team Management

  • Expertly leading concurrent projects with multiple work-streams and large internal and external teams

  • Creating and maintaining a positive team spirit within the project team

  • Support in the recruitment and mentoring of new team members when required

  • Oversee KPI setting and campaign evaluation with team

  • Run regular project and status meetings with senior clients (and other stakeholders where relevant)

  • Forward planning to anticipate challenges / issues and put in place proactive resolutions 

Internal Communications

  • Build strong relationships and foster good team spirit internally and amongst client teams

  • Draw upon experience from across CSM, where relevant, to optimise quality of work provided on the account

Financial Accountability

  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of time (fees) and budget allocation

  • Prepare budgets in support of pitches and proposals

  • Securing financial and contractual project sign-offs with clients and suppliers

  • Identify incremental business opportunities

  • Proactively seek ways to grow the business by becoming an ambassador of CSM services so they are front of mind when opportunities present themselves 


  • 6-8+ years experience at an events agency or similar, with experience delivering strategic experiential campaigns
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to the success of the new department
  • Strong client management skills - ability to manage clients and gain trust and respect of senior clients
  • Team management – ability to delegate and manage a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to client briefs on time and within budget
  • Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – and attention to detail
  • Creative thinking


  • Ideally you will have experience of the creative production process with established connections with suppliers, freelancers and agencies
  • Experience across a range of physical and digital projects, with an interest in new technology solutions
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, both sport and music & entertainment is a bonus
