SSEC Agency (Sports Sponsorships & Events Consulting) is headquartered in Cranbury, NJ.  Our agency maintains a sales-driven culture centered around innovation, creativity, positive reinforcement, and teaching. SSEC specializes in representing, building, and selling sponsorships for a diverse clientele, including National Governing Bodies, Sports Events, Sports Leagues, and other events and organizations.

Internship Description
·       Location: Fully Remote
·       Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday)
·       Compensation: Unpaid (Potential for College Credit)
·       Ideal Timeframe: Monday, May 11, 2026 - Friday, August 28, 2026 

Job Responsibilities
· Assist in managing an assigned account on behalf of SSEC (Assigned client delivers hundreds of grassroots community events led by top professional and collegiate athletes nationwide)

· Oversee a specific region of the country and research and identify potential sales targets, create sales lists, and conduct email outreach to secure meetings and pitch client sponsorship programs

·  Receive training and development from SSEC senior staff on the sponsorship sales process, including introductory calls, potential sponsor meetings, and the creation of sponsorship sales presentations and proposals

·  Work independently and autonomously as needed

·  Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisor as needed including agency events, etc.

Qualifications
·  Entrepreneurial mindset

·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
·  Passion for prospecting, sales outreach, and marketing ideation
·  Overall desire to succeed in sales
·  Proficient in PowerPoint or similar presentation software
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Prior internship or entry-level experience preferred, but not required
