SSEC represents, builds, and sells sponsorships for National Governing Bodies, Sports Events, Sports Leagues, and Events, among others.

SSEC staff will be exposed to a wide variety of sponsorship and event companies and will assist our clients in monetizing their business.
Timeframe: May 28, 2024, through August 23, 2024.
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday-Friday) 40-hour weeks.
Internship: Unpaid/College Credits Optional
Job Description:
· Sponsorship Marketing and Sales Intern will be assigned an account to manage and work on behalf of SSEC.
· Prospect potential sales targets, build sales lists, and conduct email outreach focused on setting up meetings to pitch client sponsorship programs.
· SSEC senior staff will teach and develop interns through the sponsorship sales process including introductory emails, potential sponsor meetings, building sponsorship sales presentations, and sponsorship proposals.
· The successful candidate will be self-sufficient and comfortable working autonomously as needed.
Position Requirements:
· Possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
· An organized and detail-oriented skill set will be key to succeeding at this position.
· Passion for prospecting, sales outreach, and marketing ideation.
· Possess PowerPoint or similar presentation software skillset.
· Strong written and oral skill sets.
· Previous intern or entry-level experience is a strong plus.
