Job Summary

Fan Controlled Football is looking for a QA Lead or Manager, focused on consumer facing web and mobile applications. This role should be able to create quality assurance processes, develop test plans, and own all aspects of QA. The QA Lead will continue to drive improvements in our testing processes, and report on our project metrics to measure our success. Clear communication is crucial for this role in supporting our products, as well as ensuring that all parties are clear on the adjustments that are required for product success. This role reports directly to the CEO and will be building a team as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, creation, and execution of test cases for web, mobile, and retail applications performing blackbox and automated Web and App testing.
Help to establish QA processes and structure to the testing environment
Be able to completely deconstruct our products and understand the adjustments required, leading navigation from alphas into betas
Comprehensive knowledge of all 3rd party guidelines and requirements for products, and ensuring standards are adhered to.
Drive improvements in game testing processes, and report on our project metrics to measure our success
Plan, organize and manage all QA programs, processes and activities
Define quality procedures in conjunction with technology team and other organization members
Ensure that processes and procedures are in place for all activities and that procedures are followed
Participate in analyzing root causes of problems found and assist in developing countermeasures to remove the causes

Experience

2+ years in a QA lead or supervisory role
2+ years of experience in cross browser and mobile app testing
Demonstrated experience reviewing and implementing product guidelines or requirements for alignment with 3rd parties
Knowledge of QA methodologies that cover regression testing, ad hoc testing, functional testing, user interface testing, and integration testing
Experience working with Project Directors and supply key facts and metrics
Experienced working independently and proactively
2+ years of formal people management experience
Proven communication skills, verbal and written
Working experience of test management tools, dashboards and reporting
