POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Media Coordinator will assist with developing, maintaining and supporting FresnoFC.com and all of the club’s digital and social media assets, including but not limited to graphic design, social media, digital marketing and corporate partnership activation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities below include the following; other duties may be assigned.

Assist with the development, arrangement and posting of content on FresnoFC.com and other digital and social media platforms
Contribute to the club’s social media strategy on all networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
Attend all home Fresno FC matches and other events (e.g. player appearances, community events, training) and cover for various forms of content (e.g. live-stream matches)
Coordinate with other departments to ensure digital platforms represent entire business operations and consistent branding narrative
Coordinate corporate partnership deliverables timeline and design/execute to ensure maximum partner satisfaction
Monitor analytics of the website/content on a regular basis to determine trends and areas of improvement
Build a rapport with communications, public relations, technical staff and players to help create top-class content that will better engage the club’s supporters and the Central Valley soccer community

Strong knowledge about Fresno Football Club, other United Soccer League clubs, players and outside soccer leagues preferred
Must be self-starter, detail-oriented with consistent follow-through
Exceptional project management skills
Able to take exceptional photos and video on mobile devices and DSLR cameras
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
Able to establish working relationships with a variety of team, media and community contacts
Able to connect with the club’s supporters and understanding of what engages the Fresno soccer culture
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, Adobe Reader and Internet Explorer
Familiarity with content management systems
Knowledge of core social media networks including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat
Proactive person who will strive to adapt the club’s content and digital presence to the best in USL

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
2+ years of work experience in a consumer-driven, Sports PR/Communications environment
Strong PR/Communications and strategic thinking skills; able to analyze a situation; identify objectives and desired outcomes to determine best course of action to affect positive results
Previous experience managing an online Content Management System
Understanding of United Soccer League and international soccer preferred
Spanish language skills preferred but not required
