Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for driving growth for the Reno 1868 FC team through marketing initiatives, creative promotions, and ticket sales.

Essential Duties

Manage digital campaigns for 1868 FC to produce a qualified ticket acquisition and conversion list for the ticket sales department and digital re-serve for the organization
Produce and manage content for the newsletter
Work closely with all departments for promotional calendar and strategies
Reach out, organize, and lead influencer research, appearances, and awareness
Capture marketing elements during 1868 FC matches, including pre-match marketing and player festivities, in-match elements, and promotional elements
Update documents that pertain to marketing, including google documents for the promotional calendar, one-sheeters, match day grid, social content calendar, and any other documents that fall into the marketing category
Implement outside marketing initiatives with outdoor, TV, radio, print, and more
Oversee weekly website sweeps for reno1868fc.com
Research and organize social media, google analytics, and other analytic platforms weekly
Take lead on social media posting for promotional, sales, and business elements
Train & manage schedules for 1868 FC
Order all giveaways, keep a running inventory count, and manage storage in pods for 1868 FC
Oversee stadium signage management for 1868 FC
Work all home soccer matches
Work within a team environment to achieve common team goals
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Project Management, Business, or similar fields preferred
Minimum 1-year work experience with a professional sports or entertainment organization
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with different personalities
Highly organized, quick learner, and ability to multitask to meet competing deadlines
High level of demonstrated professionalism and integrity

Work Environment

Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting
Minimal travel required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone for several hours a day
Must be able to stand on concourse during games for 3 hours at a time
