About South Georgia Tormenta FC:
Founded in 2015, South Georgia Tormenta FC is a professional soccer club based in Statesboro, Georgia. Tormenta FC competes in the professional USL League One, the
pre-professional USL League Two and the
USL W League, under the United Soccer League (USL), and has also established a thriving
academy system throughout South Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. The club seeks to play an exciting brand of soccer featuring elite local, national and international players.

Position Overview:
Candidates should be highly motivated, passionate and driven individuals that are seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced, interactive and professional sports environment. This position is designed to support the ticketing and merchandise department. The Sales & Service Coordinator must demonstrate a passion for socialization and events and will grow the Tormenta FC fan base through interactions and events. Hours range from 35-45 hours per week in addition to some special events that take place after work hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of the daily operations and/or event operations of the ticketing unit.
- Oversee the supervision of part-time ticketing staff, which includes work allocation, training, promotion, enforcement of internal procedures and controls, and problem resolution.
- Develop and enhance relationships with current season ticket holders to increase business development opportunities through exceptional customer service and referrals.
- Prepare events for system sale, including event builds in the ticketing system.
- Conduct final event sales audits.
- Monitor and maintain integrity of cash-handling and fiscal procedures.
- Oversee cash and credit card deposits and reconciliation of event transactions.
- Provide detailed sales and financial reports on a timely basis.
- Complete all ticketing reports for the organization and league.
- Assist in reviewing ticketing needs and procedures.
- Assist in the organization, execution, and delivery of sponsorship contracts.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing merchandise inventory.
- This position will work with department management in evaluation of procedures and workflow. May maintain, organize, and handle all sales and ticketing needs for specified programs and productions. May run reports for department management as required. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
- Proficiency in use of ticketing software, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships at all levels across the organization and externally.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
- 1-2 years previous experience working in sales, ticketing or marketing.
- Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed.
Preferred
- Sports organization, events or community engagement experience encouraged.
- A strong knowledge of the soccer landscape, United Soccer League and Major League Soccer.
