Position: Executive Vice President of Business Operations
Work Location: SRFC Front Offices in Sacramento, California
Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus Structure
Organization: Reports to President & GM
Job Summary:
The Sacramento Republic FC Executive Vice President of Business Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee multiple department activities in the organization. Driving profitability and values implementation with efficient and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. The EVP of Business Operations will serve as “point” on most business processes within the organization in accordance with the President & GM.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of SRFC business operations.
- Collaborates with executive leadership by participating in executive meetings, to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects.
- Collaborates with other departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives that directly impact the Clubs profitability and values.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Establishes and administers department’s budget for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs.
- Works closely with Human Resources to ensure that department needs current and future, project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, equipment acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Presents periodic company performance reports and metrics to the CEO and President & GM.
- Maintains working knowledge of emerging trends and competitive landscape in business development, operations related to the industry.
- Occasionally will need to attend internal and external events to represent Sacramento Republic FC.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
- Years of related work experience: 8-12
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Experience managing multi-department and multi-division groups
- Experience building and scaling teams and systems
- Successful strategic planning and budgeting experience
- Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring and meeting quarterly and annual goals
- Proficient in business processes and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop business strategy across multiple departments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Sports & Entertainment Industry
- Experience in Managing, training, and leading people
- Experience in budgeting and ledger reports
- Business Management Experience
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, consistently demonstrating a professional demeanor
