Indy Eleven internships are available for course credit only. Interns are provided a paid monthly parking stipend, but are otherwise unpaid. Positions are less than 30 hours per week, but will depend on the number of hours needed to complete course credit. Work schedules will be set at the beginning of the internship. Indy Eleven will require all new interns to receive the COVID-19 vaccination prior to entering the office environment as a condition of the internship program. Valid exceptions will be reviewed, such as underlying health conditions or another validated factor which prevent an applicant from obtaining.
Data & Analytics Intern
Indy Eleven, a member of the United Soccer League, is currently seeking qualified individuals for a Data & Analytics internship. This position offers an inside look on how Indy Eleven uses data to make decisions for the organization and for the benefit of the fan experience. This is an exciting and diverse position that will add meaningful experience to your resume.
The intern assists all members of the organization in finding usable and actionable insights to apply to each department. This internship is “data storytelling” focused with a focus on fan analysis, making business recommendations, and decision-making influence with interaction with multiple departments within the Indy Eleven front office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining data hygiene
Support data validation and/or modeling
Building various reports as assigned
Maintain good attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
College students entering their junior or senior year, or recently graduated college within the last six months, studying CRM, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, inquisitive, and willing to wear multiple hats. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Hard-working, self-improvers who are hungry, proactive, and possess a positive attitude.
Willing to work evenings and weekends including ALL Indy Eleven home games
Outgoing with the ability to effectively interact with managers, co-workers, partners, fans, and the general public
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to commit to the full internship
Must have reliable transportation to and from the Indy Eleven Offices.
