Club Overview:
FC Tucson was founded in 2010 by a local group of dedicated Tucsonans who wanted to elevate the sport and bring professional soccer to the City of Tucson. Since that time, FC Tucson has been responsible for helping to put Tucson on the national stage by hosting the annual MLS pre-season training events as well as developing America’s top Players who have gone on to become MLS and US Men’s National Team Members. This year marks the 10th anniversary of FC Tucson and FC Tucson intends to enter the new decade with a commitment to showcasing top talent and bringing the community together in a whole new fashion. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Digital Media Manager and Community Relations Manager to implement our digital and physical community outreach strategy.
- Provide end-user content ideas as it relates to key marketing objectives in the digital and physical space.
- Will be in charge of the schedule and post social content while monitoring daily digital engagement communications.
- Coordinate and/or attends community events created from online community development.
- Work within a team tasked with creatively getting the word out to a broad swath of our community.
- Work with the marketing and sales team to think up and deploy fun, effective strategies for increasing FC Tucson’s visibility in the community and throughout various industries.
- Leverage our existing relationships and volunteer connections to connect with major institutions and target groups in the community.
- Create written content on a regular basis, including press releases, feature stories, previews and recaps.
- Assist in day-to-day media and community relations
How This Role Affects the Team’s Success
In-person and online social community awareness and engagement will be key to developing our Supporters, Fans, and various community partnerships. The person in this role will know he or she was successful if there is notable buzz about FC Tucson over a broad geographic, industry-related, and institutional spread.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
Time Commitment: 15-20 HOURS per week + weekends + match days
