Chicago City SC is looking for an individual to fulfill the role of Team Manager for our men’s and women's teams competing in the USL. The CCSC Team Manager performs duties at preseason events, during home and away matches, and at daily practices. The CCSC Team Manager is not required to attend every away game, but we are looking for someone who can commit to the entire season including all home games and practices.

Training Day Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day management and preparation of equipment for CCSC players and staff
Helps coaching staff/medical staff deliver equipment to field prior to start of training
Collects and inventories all training equipment
Clean and maintain training equipment and locker room
Alert players to any information coach has for team

Match Day Responsibilities:

Sets up the team locker room prior to match
Responsible for ensuring players and staff follow league rules and protocols regarding equipment regulations
Prepare game day lineup forms for referees
Keep stats for all home matches then complete and submit USLforms
Organizes and cleans up the home bench and locker room area post match

Team Travel:

Some travel to be expected with the team for away matches (pre-season, regular season, playoffs, and postseason)
Coordinates with technical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure that all travel coordination is organized related to equipment

Apparel & Equipment Management:

Prepare training apparel for upcoming CCSC season
Manage all apparel needs to home and away matches

Qualifications:

Experience or knowledge of soccer is preferred
Dependable
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Self-motivating and eager to succeed
Enthusiastic and energetic
Ability to multitask and work under pressure

The Team Manager for CCSC will report to the General Manager, Operations Manager, and/or the CCSC Coaching Staff.This is an UNPAID internship position.
