The SUPER LEAGUE CAROLINA is seeking a proven Corporate Partnership Executive that has a deep roster of national clients and decision-maker relationships that can impact our business. You’ll work with our young, motivated, and diverse team from the Charlotte, NC office. You’ll be a valued and celebrated member of our key-manager team. This role will create and sell multi-media partnerships and act as a trusted representative for our organization. You will contribute as the lead business development executive for our professional women’s soccer team that is one of the inaugural franchises in the new USL Division 1 Super League! We will begin play in August of 2024 at our beautiful new stadium, American Legion Memorial Stadium.
The preferred candidates will be well experienced in leveraging data, brand research, personal creativity, solutions based selling and savvy negotiation acumen in order to secure industry leading and valuable multi-media partnerships with top brands and organizations. A strong relationship portfolio in the North Carolina and South Carolina region and within the soccer, is a positive for your candidacy.
Earnings Potential
You’ll have the opportunity to make a tremendous living with a good base salary along with generous commission rates on over $4,000,000 of available inventory to sell. You’ll not only have the ability to monetize our Super League Carolina team, you’ll also be able to sell the assets to our new stadium (including field naming rights), assets to our youth academy of 12,000 players, as well as our USL W League women’s pre-professional team, our USL League 1 Men’s professional team and our USL League 2 men’s pre-professional team.

The Super League Carolina Executive Director we seek is a self-motivated, energetic, positive, joyful, outgoing, organized team player with impeccable integrity and a strong, dedicated work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Deliver annual revenue goals.
- Secures sponsors and strategic partnerships for the Super League Carolinas teams, youth academy, branded assets, USL League 1 team, USL W league team and USL League 2 team.
- Renew sponsorship clients at a high rate.
- Models the character and values in a leadership role helping create a consistently positive and respectful working culture.
- Champions the value and reach of our properties to relevant industries and potential partners, engaging research, market knowledge, and your sincere passion for the power of soccer, sports and entertainment.
- Aggressively drives the lifecycle of sponsorship sales process from identifying potential partners, prospecting, researching, presentation creation, pitching, securing, contracting and contract fulfillment. Has a consistent replenishment of the funnel and pipeline.
- Develops and maintains trusting relationships with key decision makers and respective advertising agencies new potential partners.
- Creates innovative strategic partnership programs that exceed partners’ expectations and partnership objectives, aiming for integrated packages encompassing all mediums – linear and digital media, experiential, social media, hospitality, venue assets, team uniforms, youth tournaments and camps, product integration, etc.
- Leads the development and delivery of proposals, providing clear guidance and requirements to internal Creative Services’ teams
- Partners with activation teams and oversee legal and financial fulfillment of client agreements, ensuring accurate execution, superior client experience, and timely receivables for the Company
- Fulfills reporting needs for internal customers and clients, including but limited to forecasting, sales, and pipeline reports
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of sponsorship sales and fulfillment experience and an exceptional track record of creating high value sponsorship programs for sports teams and large-scale live events (10k+ attendees). Soccer and lacrosse experience and relationships are a plus.
- Deep relationships across key sponsoring industries and companies is a must with relationships in our leagues and Charlotte region a big plus for your candidacy.
- Active long-term and trusting relationships with decision makers at industry-relevant companies and brands.
- Excellent application and knowledge of sponsorships and brand activation.
- Self-motivated, resourceful individual with a strong working knowledge of the digital, mobile and social media spaces and how marketers are utilizing these platforms
