Game Day Volunteer

About the Team:

Founded in 2023, Redlands Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club based out of the So-Cal region. The club co-founders were born and brought up in the Redlands area and are incredibly excited to found a team to call their own.

Led by Head Coach Cody Carlson and assistant coaches Edwin Diaz and Gio Napoletano the coaching staff also has deep roots in the community.

Since inception the local Redlands community has shown the team a tremendous amount of support from the local community with over 45K views on social media from 2K+ followers. We are incredibly excited at the opportunity to continue to grow our home base and look forward to a fantastic inaugural season.

About the Role:

Redlands Football Club are looking for volunteers for the 2023 soccer season, providing a unique opportunity for individuals looking to understand the inner workings of gameday operations and events. You’ll experience the collaboration that takes place between a variety of internal team departments, the team and the event staff on different projects and initiatives that directly tie into the successful execution of the game-day event. You will be expected to assist with a variety of tasks and responsibilities in conjunction with game-day preparations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be collaborative, creative and proactive, as well as a strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because…

Develop a full understanding of Redlands Stadium layout and stadium policies
Support with inventory control and distribution of equipment used by the event staff
Assist with set-up of Game Day operations (setting up signage, setting up food stalls, setting up of games for fans etc.)
Assist with written and verbal correspondence with guests
Assist department with various administrative duties and projects including filing, correspondence, updating spreadsheets, break room product inventory and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Current student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recently graduated in the past 12 months
Previous event/venue operations experience a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be collaborative, creative and proactive
Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
