We are accepting applications for Summer 2018 Internships. All internships for Washington Spirit are unpaid internships. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment and marketing industry. Hours can be flexible to accommodate your school or work schedule. Some nights and weekends will be required.

PR Writing Intern
-Description: Assist with the team’s PR writing needs, including roster changes, player and coaching staff contracts, sponsor announcements, game previews, and recaps, as well as other miscellaneous assignments.
-Requirements: Must be a current college student majoring in communications with a focus on public relations or journalism. Relevant sports writing experience strongly preferred.

Social Media Intern
-Description: Assist both the Marketing and Communications department in writing and scheduling various social media posts and content production during the 2018 NWSL Season.
-Requirements: Must be a current college student with previous experience representing brands on social media.

Marketing Intern
-Description: Assist the Marketing department in game-day and off-site activations and the development of promotional content.
-Requirements: Must be a current college student preferably with previous experience in marketing.
