Seasonal Sales Representative, Group Sales & Service

Position Summary:  The Washington Spirit is committed to building meaningful lasting relationships and delivering all Spirit exceptional customer service.. We embrace a fun and fast-paced culture that encourages open communication and team building.  The Seasonal Sales Representative of Group Sales & Service assists with the development and day-to-day execution of department initiatives, which include game day preparation, assisting with sales events, maintaining relationships with guests and Group Ticket Sales to help us achieve our goals. In this role, you will be an integral member of the sales team. You will be responsible for selling group tickets and further working as a contributor of our group sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Thrive to succeed. You will help us exceed our goals through planning & executing Group Sales initiatives, supporting our overall team, and setting up activation locations within the arena on game days. You will work with group leaders to sell group seat packages and you are willing to make phone calls during the season and off-season to ensure personalized, continual contact with ticket holders and group accounts.

Being an advocate for our organization, polite in your interactions, timely and professional will lead to YOUR success. Whether it’s an internal or external customer, you assist and follow up with requests and foresee ways to surprise and delight them. You are able to handle objections skillfully in an effort to bring in new accounts and group accounts.

You will interact with your team, our fans, during events, games, sharing our benefit programs and promoting women’s soccer. Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience
  • Experience specifically selling season seats, mini plans or group tickets for a sports organization either in a full-time or internship role.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour work week that starts just before, and after, the soccer season
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
