Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
The Vice President of Ticketing will oversee ticket sales, service, and operations. The candidate will help develop and oversee the strategy, execution, and leadership of the team that is responsible for selling season tickets, premium seating, group sales, single-game buyers, and the Spirit Squadron supporter sections at Audi Field.

This candidate will report into the COO and work closely alongside the Vice President of Revenue, Communications/Marketing, and community relations leads.

The VP of Ticketing will:

  • Lead and train ticket sales and service staff
  • Provide oversight to ticket operations and, by extension stadium box office
  •  Execute on ticket sales strategy
  • Conceptualize and execute day-to-day sales development to deliver revenue targets and maximize profit margins for all events
  •  Conduct lead generation and campaign building
  •  Implement renewal and sales campaigns
  • Create and execute sales events to foster relationships with prospects and renewal targets
  • Lead the planning and implementation of all outbound sales efforts, including product launches, sales events, seller incentives, and buyer incentives for all membership focused products
  • Develop the sales journey, purchase process, CRM tracking, and sales-to-service handoff strategy for the season ticket, premium seating, and group sales tickets
  •  Collaborate with key internal department leaders to design the calendar, content, and strategy for reoccurring sales events –including friends and family, top businesses, local tastemakers, and influencer events
  •  Provide consistent reporting information by maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and overall updates of sales, outbound metrics, and event recaps
  •  Represent the Washington Spirit at all home games

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Demonstrated success leading a ticketing function for a sports and entertainment property
  • Experience leading a team, hiring, training, and development, etc. with demonstrated success
  • Experience and proven ability to thrive in a startup environment 
  • CRM management and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Strategic business planner with a process-driven mindset and attention to detail
  • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and negotiate premium products
  • Strong sales background with a passion for teaching the sales process and coaching a diverse team of sales professionals
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, events and holidays as required

Location:

This position is based in Falls Church, VA. Our work locations are in Falls Church, Leesburg, and SW quadrant of Washington, D.C. Our front office staff in Falls Church is on a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week in the office.
