The Manager, Group Sales is responsible for the daily training and development of the group sales staff.  An accomplished seller,  this individual has a firm understanding of the group sales process, ability to clearly and effectively communicate to her/his team and the ability to develop long term group sales growth and retention for the club. 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Day-to-day management and development of the group sales team with the focus of generating new sales revenue from prospective group targets and categories.
·       Establish key performance metrics for the group sales team
·       Monitor, manage and evaluate team member performance on an ongoing basis; following up with appropriate feedback and direction for ongoing development
·       Foster a culture of growth and development by designing a best-in-class group sales training program 
·       Support team members by regularly attending appointments with current and prospective group accounts
·       Provide recommendations to the Head of Ticketing on strategies and procedures to increase organizational group sales results across all departments
·       Manage, track and monitor group FEPs to maximize revenues and to ensure optimal sell-thru rate
·       Facilitate the staffing and execution of group FEPs on matchday
·       Support direct reports in the development of healthy and robust group sales pipelines
·       Provide recommendations to increase group lead generation for specific target markets
·       Promote a culture of innovation, where new group programs and offerings are created, existing programs are enhanced and new ideas are constantly explored
·       Develop and maintain a group ticket best practices library for team members
·       Create, track and execute sales contests to motivate entire sales staff
·       Manage all aspects of group sales campaigns through CRM tool (HubSpot) and sales reports, tracking ROI and lead management
·       All other duties as assigned by the Head of Ticketing

A.  Education and/or Experience
·       Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required  
·       Minimum 3 seasons of group sales experience 
·       History as a top revenue producer for a sports and/or entertainment organization
·       Track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals
·       Ability to clearly and effectively explain the group sales process
·       Training & recruiting experience
·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

o    The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however, is expected to attend all events
