ABOUT THE JOB
OL Reign was established in 2012 as a founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League. The NWSL is made up of twelve teams and is widely considered to be one of the most competitive professional soccer leagues in the world. Our players have captured the NWSL Shield three times and have made five appearances in the NWSL postseason. OL Reign plays its home matches at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
OL Reign is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Retail department. The Retail Coordinator is responsible for the management of our merchandise inventory; including but not limited to fulfilling online orders, receiving merchandise shipments from vendors, and pressing customized jerseys. The Retail Coordinator is a full-time position that operates out of our warehouse space in Seattle. This position directly reports to the Retail Merchandising & Operations Manager, and works alongside another Retail Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Retail Merchandising & Operations Manager with department related tasks and duties
- Manage tactical retail operations including online order fulfillment, receiving merchandise orders/shipments, pressing jerseys, and tagging merchandise
- Respond to fan/customer inquiries via email regarding the online store, online orders, and team merchandise
- Ensure an organized warehouse space to maintain a functional working environment
- Serve as a liaison between departments regarding specific merchandise and product requests
- Display strong knowledge of team product and merchandise
- Always represent the OL Reign organization in a professional manner, including interacting with other entities and organizations within Lumen Field
- Able to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays as needed during the NWSL Regular Season for OL Reign home matches
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Retail
- Previous work experience in sports/retail related field is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams)
- Positive attitude and team player with a growth mindset
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to perform and prioritize various tasks
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Prides oneself in their attention to detail
- Shares a passion for soccer, sports, and/or the OL Reign organization

This position requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 50 pounds. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
COMPENSATION
This is a non-exempt position, paid at a rate of $20.67 per hour. This role has the opportunity to earn commissions based on departmental sales goals and achievements.
