The Chicago Red Stars Sponsorship Activation Manager will work in the Sponsorship & Operations Department to activate, service and renew partners and assist in planning and execution of sponsorship activities at Red Stars home games and associated events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Research potential categories and companies who will be good additions to our existing sponsor base.
Manage creation of customized proposals for clients
Participate in creation of new selling ideas and inventory that build integration with partners
Manage activation for Red Stars partnership accounts
- Plan, schedule and execute elements of partnership including events, social media, print and digital communications, hospitality & ticketing, in-stadium signage and game day activities
Attend in person and virtual client meetings as necessary
Maintain accurate calendars and client activation reports and communicate asset deadlines
Manage creation of proof of performance reports and attend renewal meetings as required
Assist with hospitality of existing and prospective clients on game day
Assist with ideation and execution of promotions and theme night activities to increase sponsor inventory and drive individual ticket sales
Assist with miscellaneous support tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a graduate degree with emphasis in sports management and/or business preferred.
Minimum three (3) years in client management, preferably in sports sponsorship

· Sports knowledge with specific knowledge/understanding of soccer preferred

Creative and out of the box solution seeker.
Goal oriented, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment with attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience with Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
Preferred experience with photoshop and the Adobe creative suite
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and adhere to highest ethical standards
Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere

· This role will require attendance at Chicago Red Stars games and events.

This is a full-time role reporting to the Director of Sponsorship & Operations.

The role is based at the Red Stars office in Lincoln Park, Chicago and SeatGeek Stadium for Red Stars home games and does offer a hybrid remote/office schedule.
