 Premium Account Executive, Ticket Sales
The Chicago Red Stars are seeking an experienced Premium Account Executive with a strong passion for sales and women’s sports and an affinity for selling to corporations, businesses, and high net worth individuals. This position generates revenue through strategic prospecting, face to face meetings, cold-calling, and relationship building. The Premium Account Executive will work within the Sales Team and report to the Senior Manager of Ticket Sales.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting, and networking
  • Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads to build your book of business
  • Sales inventory includes but is not limited to, season tickets, mini-plans, group packages in suites, premium club spaces, and fieldside seating
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established by the sales management team
  • Record all activity and sales pipeline details in the CRM system
  • Provide high-end service for our Premium Season Ticket Holders, including but not limited to: renewals, collection of payments, receiving executed seating contracts, cross-selling as needed
  • Be present at all home games to service your customers, establish new relationships, and help manage the game-day duties
  • Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
  • Additional tasks as requested by senior management 

Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industries
  • Prior experience selling premium spaces in the professional or collegiate sports and entertainment industry is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, open to learning, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, both oral and written
  • Superior customer service mind-set possessing the character and experience to support our goal to “Be friendly and Be helpful”
  • Good at collaborating with others in a close work environment
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • Effectively communicate with donors and C-level clients
  • A high level of professionalism, confidence, enthusiasm, and personal accountability 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
