Manager of Ticket Operations and CRM
The Manager of Ticket Operations and CRM oversees all aspects of ticket services including ticket revenue received and control of ticket inventory. This position acts as the key liaison between the Ticket Sales and Service Team, Stadium, and the Box Office. It is also responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service possible for all internal and external customers. This includes customer service management of the Box Office on match day.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the strategy, execution, and leadership of the team that is responsible for ticket operations, ticket strategy, implementation of ticket products and technology, as well as financial reporting
  • Develop pricing, scaling, inventory management, and allocation strategies to maximize season, group, and single match ticket sales and revenue
  • Develop operations plan for handling all functions including invoicing of account holders, seat upgrades, allocations, transfers, payment plans, and other ticketing initiatives
  • Lead the organizations CRM efforts to ensure that the Chicago Red Stars are best-in-class, with a focus on: 
    • Driving sales and revenue 
    • Customer lead generation and retention 
    • Communication and collaborative efforts across internal departments 
    • Deep dive into data analytics and insights, which would drive strategic marketing and sales campaigns 
    • Working efficiently to provide excellent customer engagement through various touchpoints 
  • Support the day-to-day business needs by building visualizations, reports, and dashboards
  • Identify new KPIs to track metrics against goals and provide actionable business insights
  • Provide recommendations through the analysis of a wide range of data, including ticketing, concessions, merchandise, loyalty program, the mobile app, as well as other interdepartmental organizational goals
  • Assist in the sales journey, purchase process, CRM tracking, and sales-to-service handoff strategy for the club, membership, and supporters section seating
  • Work in tandem with senior leadership to create lead scoring and a prioritization system to identify targeted audiences for various ticket products, hospitality packages, and other products for the team
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute and implement the operational components of membership and brand-driven marketing campaigns  

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 4+ years of ticket operations experience (SeatGeek experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of forecasting and predictive analytics
  • Prior experience with inventory management or pricing optimization is a plus
  • Understanding of or Experience with data analysis tools (SQL server, R, Python or other programming language)
  • Experience with a BI reporting and data visualization tool; e.g. Tableau, Microstrategy, SSRS, Crystal, Business Objects
  • Must be able to interact respectfully and communicate in a professional manner with all public and departmental personnel via phone, written correspondence, and in-person
  • Ability to deliver as both a detail-oriented analyst and executive-level strategist
  • Proven track record of success in cross-functional work environments
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Candidate should be: a self-starter, independent, a creative thinker, ambitious, result-oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
